Attaching a file to a NotesDocument using the back-end LS classes is no problem. The problem is that the icon is not the one associated with the application.
If I attach an MS Word document of a PDF-file I still get the ugly generic icon. Nothing new about this, it's been this way for many years.
But I'm sure it is possible to change the icon using the APIs. One reason I know this is that your own RTLib allows that.
At my workplace we did indeed purchase an RTLib license and it really works brilliantly. But what if I don't have RTLib? Is this a really difficult thing to do?
